Aloha Tax Explorers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Missing my daily tax tips? Well, I\u2019ve been busy discovering what might be Hawaii\u2019s best-kept secret\u200a\u2014\u200athe island of Moloka\u02bbi. And surprisingly, it taught me an important lesson about taxes and life that I need to share with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Picture this:
\u2022 No traffic lights
\u2022 Just 3 small markets
\u2022 A handful of \u201crestaurants\u201d
\u2022 Everything closes by 1:30 PM
\u2022 The most pristine, untouched beaches you\u2019ve ever seen<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s like stepping back in time to a simpler Hawaii. But here\u2019s what struck me\u200a\u2014\u200aeven on this remote island where time seems to stand still, there were two things you couldn\u2019t escape: breathtaking sunsets and\u2026 taxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, even in paradise, taxes are a reality. But here\u2019s the difference: The locals here have mastered something many of us struggle with\u200a\u2014\u200athey don\u2019t let it consume their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of life\u2019s precious moments, today was extra special. Our son Kainalu was baptized here in Oahu, surrounded by our Hawaiian ohana while my mainland family joined via Zoom. It was one of those perfect moments that remind you what really matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And it got me thinking\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How many of us spend the holiday season:
\u2022 Stressing about upcoming tax deadlines?
\u2022 Worrying about last year\u2019s unfiled returns?
\u2022 Missing family moments because we\u2019re sorting through receipts?
